Miles and Smiles

The 16th annual UW-Stout Supermileage Challenge

April 18th & 19th, 2008

The University of Wisconsin-Stout Technology Education Collegiate Association's Supermileage Challenge provides high school and middle school students an opportunity to engage in:

  • excel in hands-on/minds-on problem solving
  • authentic research and development experience

UW-Stout Technology Education students were the first entrepreneurs to bring the Supermileage challenge into Wisconsin. The sumpermileage program, running since 1992, enables university students to gain experience interacting with high school students and teachers prior to graduating and entering the teaching profession.
